On Wednesday 5th October 2011 Belgian delegation stayed in Hlohovec. On the morning briefing multipurpose battalion commander Lt.Col. Ing. Adrian MELEGA introduced to Belgian delegation role and tasks of the multipurpose battalion. On the morning lectures Belgian guests explained through illustrated presentations to multipurpose and transport battalion principles of safe cargo transport and technical process of loading/unloading the ship. Before working lunch was held an ecumenical service in the chapel of the multipurpose battalion. In the afternoon the delegation joined the Commander of Headquarters of the Training and Support Forces general major Ing. Peter VOJTEK and Director of the Institute of imprisonment and remand in Leopoldov Lt.Col. Mgr. Pavel ZBOJEK. The program continued with visitation the Penitentiary in Leopoldov, which once served as a military fortress. Afternoon was held Shooting competition.
